Info on SFX

SFX facilitates access to full electronic texts by providing a link from the bibliographic reference to the full text. SFX links to the following services:

• Full electronic texts of journal articles, etc. on the Bern campus
• Library catalogs (swissbib Basel Bern, swissbib.ch and other libraries in the Information Network of German-Speaking (IDS)
• Document supply service (interlibrary loans)
• Impact Factor (Journal Citation Report)
• Citation analysis (Web of Science)
• Internet search (Google Scholar)
• Citation analysis (Web of Science)
• Feedback form

These databases are equipped with SFX on the University of Bern campus.

Access to licensed databases

Access to licensed databases and electronic journals is limited to the Bern campus. University of Bern members also have the option of accessing the campus remotely by means of a VPN (Virtual Private Network).
