De omnium fossilium genere (shelfmarks: MUE Klein q 105 and MUE Klein q 105 a) contains descriptions of fossils and minerals. In the last entry of the anthology he published, Gessner explains a classification, which among others includes jewelry and tools.
The woodcuts show legendary snakes' eggs (which are actually sea urchins) and an arrangement of gems.
