Data management plan

Data management plans (DMPs) form the basis of good research data management. A DMP describes how research data are managed throughout the data lifecycle: from data collection or generation, through storage, documentation, and metadata description, to publication and archiving at the end of the project. For many funding schemes of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the European Union, the submission of a DMP is mandatory.
