The Library of Law (JBB) is the University of Bern’s special library in the field of law. It is located in the basement of the main building of the University of Bern and is open to the public. It is a non-lending library.

- Jura-Pool with furniture for meetings and Computer workplaces for students of the University of Bern
- 2 query stations
- 300 lockers for students of the University of Bern
- Printing/scanning/photocopying facilities (four Uniprint devices)
- 1 book scanner

Collection
The Library of Law (JBB) is a non-lending library.
The focus of the Library of Law’s collection is set on Swiss and in particular Bernese legal literature.
The legal literature of Germany, Austria and the Principality of Liechtenstein is also given special consideration when acquiring new items.
Basic legal works from the other countries of the European Union as well as the US are also part of the collection.
The Library of Law purchases literature on legal history and legal philosophy under the auspices of the Friedrich-Emil-Welti Foundation.
The Law Library is linked to various university libraries in Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, Lucerne and Zurich via courier service.
