Opening hours

The Public Health & Primary Care Library PHC is a sub-library of the University Library Bern (UB) is intended for members of the university, students and healthcare specialists. Other interested persons are likewise welcome.

  • Printing/scanning/photocopying facilities (Uniprint)

Borrowing

The conditions of borrowing and usage are based on the University Library Bern’s user regulations. A user account is required for borrowing.

Registered customers (user card or Unicard) may borrow books and media from the library.

There is no messenger service with other libraries.

Introductory Sessions

Introductory sessions on how to use the library and systematic literature research are held within the scope of study programs and on request.

Most of the collections are freely accessible and borrowable (except for journals and some reference works). They can be searched for using the Swisscovery catalog.
The library is public and borrowing takes place on site using  Unicards, SLSP user cards or equivalent. Books are sent by interlibrary loan only to libraries, not to private individuals.

The Public Health and Primary Care Library PHC collects literature focusing on the following:

  • primary health care
